THE RELOCATION PROCESS

Get a pre-approval

If you are purchasing with a loan, connect with a reputable lender in the local market. They will be a key player in your transaction. You can connect with my preferred lender here

Property alerts

Once we understand your budget and finances, I will set you up on automated property alerts, tailored to your desired frequency. With alerts, you will know when listings hit the market that hit your criteria as soon as they are live. When you see something you like, we will schedule a showing (in person or virtual.)

Make an offer

When we find the property that is right for you, with your input, I will craft the perfect offer that will position you as the top contender for securing it.

Contingencies

Once we are under contract, I will keep our contingency deadlines in order. Your lender and I will make sure your home inspection, appraisal, and financing deadlines are made top priority.

Negotiations

Once we have completed the home inspection and appraisal, we will leverage them to negotiate you the very best deal possible, with any defects or repairs and the true value of the home taken into account.

Final Walkthrough

Once both parties have agreed upon the details of the transaction and all documents have been submitted, we will schedule a final walkthrough so that you have an opportunity to approve the final condition of the property before it becomes yours. If you are not yet in the area, I can facilitate this step virtually, through video technology.

Signing

When everything is complete and approved, you will sign (with wet ink) your closing documents with the title and escrow officer. If you are not in town for this event, a mobile notary will be arranged.

Closing Day

When both parties have signed, the title officer will release the file to be recorded with the county assessor. Once the property goes on record, you become the official owner. I will bring you the keys and champagne!
